- I'm 61yrs.old. grandmother of 2 beautiful little girls, oldest one born on my birthday. I was a hairdresser for 35 yrs, Vidal Sasoons first U.S. employee, worked with him designing styles,color,perm technics. Went to live with Paul Mithchell & his partner in Hawaii, developing styles, fashion, hair care products for almost 10 years. Lived in Italy, Paris, England, studying the world of hair & fashion, working with/for the top names in cosmetics, hair, & clothing design. Returned to the U.S., opened for salons on Madison Ave, 2 resturantes, 2 bakeries, 2 live entertainment dinner clubs, one straight & one gay, 2 discos, one straight & one gay, 2 after hours clubs, ditto one one of each, & on 'Black Monday' lost $30,000,000.00 in the stock market crash. Moved to NC, to starte over on a smaller scale, 3 weeks here, involved in major car accident, in wheel chair for 1 yr., developed Fibromyalgia, Discovered an inoperable tumor on my brain, had 2 strokes, second one leaving me w/ Parkinsons, currently live on less than $650 mo. SSID, have my small candle business, trying to get it off the ground, & have the good fortune of finding this amazing group.
